Letter From The Editor PhotoFrom the Desk of
Geronimo Stilton

Dear Reader,

Have you heard of the Wild West? Cheese Whiskers! There’s a reason it’s called “wild.” It’s a pretty crazy place. How do I know? I saw it with my own two eyes! Thea, Trap, Benjamin, and I took a trip to Cactus City—and we had quite an adventure.

First, we almost died of thirst in the desert. Then, I had to go into an old-time saloon full of tough, hard-riding cowrats—and believe me, I still don’t know how I escaped alive. Then, we rode across the desert on horseback, ate beans around a campfire, and slept under the stars (that part was really exciting and fun). But that’s not even the half of it. There was still even more danger ahead!

Now that I’m back home sitting at my desk, I still can’t believe it’s over. Just a minute ago, I finished writing the last few pages of The Wild West. It tells all about my adventure. My paws were still a little shaky when I wrote it. But I just had to get the story down on paper while it was fresh in my mind. I didn’t want to leave out any of the shocking details.

Yours truly,
Geronimo Stilton
