The Comet Teacher's Resource contains teaching notes for the stories and articles contained in the student magazine. The notes include:

The resource also contains five literacy strategies, each tied to one of the reading selections in the student issue. Each strategy consists of a student activity such as a word puzzle or an art project, and each includes instructions for both teacher and student and reproducible pages.
